Biography
Demi Moore is a well known name in the Hollywood circle. The actress has been one of the leading ladies in the 80s era. Still recognizable for her legendary movie Ghost (1990) and recently for her marriage to actor Ashton Kutcher who is15 years her junior, this star diva still continues to breath poise, charm and grace.

Born as Demetria Gene Guynes in Roswell, New Mexico, to Charles Harmon, left her mother, Virginia King. She never got to spent time with her father as he had already left her wife even before Demi was born. She spent much of her childhood years in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania, a small town south of Pittsburgh. Moore had the surname of her stepfather, Danny Guynes, on her birth certificate who committed suicide in 1980. Moore's parents were also alcoholics and often abused each other. Moore used to wear an eye patch in an attempt to correct the problem of cross eyed until it was eventually corrected by two surgeries. During this time, she also suffered from kidney dysfunction.

The family after much moving due to Guynes frequently changing jobs finally settled in Los Angels in 1976. Here, Moore attended Hollywood's Fairfax High School, from where she later dropped out at the age of 16 in order to pursue a career in acting.

Career in Movies
She soon found work with European photographers and became a pin up girl. In addition, she also worked at a collection agency. In the early 1980s, she did a series of photo shoots fully nude for Christopher Marrin. Demi debuted in movies with 1982 release3-D science fiction/horror film, Parasite, which was a hit on the drive-in circuit. The part that brought her recognition was that of Jackie Templeton on the ABC soap opera, General Hospital, from 1982-1983. She also did a cameo in the spoof Young Doctors in Love (1982).

Mid 80s earned her the title of as one of the Brat packs with her choice of youth oriented, teeny boppers’ movies like St. Elmo's Fire (1985), About Last Night etc.

The year1990 saw her rising to heights of unprecedented popularity when starred opposite Patrick Swayz in Ghost. She maintained her firm holding on the box office and audience with working in movies like A Few Good Men, Indecent Proposal, Disclosure and The Hunchback of Notre Dame for which she was the first actress to reach the $10 million salary mark. In fact, she was the highest paid actress of 90s.

But with the middle of 90s her career began a downslide in Moore’s uprising career graph. The Scarlet Letter, The Juror, Striptease, and G.I. Jane all failed to recreate the Moore magic. But she got some drops of relief when she produced and starred in TV mini-series, If These Walls Could Talk, written by Nancy Savoca that got her Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress for the role of a single woman in the 1950s seeking a back-street abortion.

She took a brief break from acting and returned to screen with a bang starring in film Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003). 2006 also brought her close to her Bobby fellow co star Ashtn Kutcher, the relationship which later culminated into marriage. Her most recent movie is Mr. Brooks (2007).

Demi Moore married her first husband singer Freddy Moore in 1980 before she was eighteen. The couple got divorced after just 5 years and she again got involved with actor Bruce Willis and married him in 1987. They have three daughters together, Rumer Willis (b. 1988), Scout LaRue Willis (b. 1991) and Tallulah Belle Willis (b. 1994). They separated in 1998 and are still on cordial terms. Incidentally, when she was 7 month pregnant with her second child she posed nude for the cove of Vanity Fair, which provoked much controversy among the masses.

She again walked down the aisle with Ashton Kutcher who was way much younger than her, fifteen years to be precise. She is practicing follower of the Rabbi Philip Berg's trendy Kabbalah Centre religion and has changed her name to Kutcher legally.

Drew Barrymore Photo Galleries

Biography

Whoever would have thought that the cutsie little sister from Steven Spielberg’s E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial would one day become one of the most sought after Hollywood celebrities. Yes, we are talking about Drew Barrymore, the child actress who is now pursuing a career in acting full time and that too with much aplomb and credit.

Drew Blyth Barrymore came into this world on February 22, 1975 in Barrymore was born in Culver City, California, to American actor John Drew Barrymore and Ildiko Jaid Barrymore, who was an aspiring actress. Her parents divorced after she was born. She has a half-brother John Blyth Barrymore, also an actor, and two half-sisters, Blyth Dolores Barrymore and Brahma (Jessica) Blyth Barrymore.

Barrymore’s knack for acting can be accredited to her hailing from a background of established and known actors of their generations as far as 200 years ago. John Drew, Louisa Lane Drew, her great-grandparents Maurice Barrymore, Georgiana Drew, Maurice Costello and Mae Costello, and her grandparents John Barrymore and Dolores Costello are some of the names depicting the glorious past of the Drew family in the history of acting.

Career in Movies
Drew started working since as early as 11 months old when she was selected for a dog food commercial. She later debuted with the movie Altered States (1980).But it was the role in the Steven Spielberg movies E.T.The Extra Terrestrial in 1981 that brought the child prodigy into limelight. Incidentally, Barrymore is the god daughter of Spielberg. Her performance in Irreconcilable Differences (1984) even earned her a nomination in Golden Globes Awards under Best Supporting Actress category.

But the new found success at such a small age perhaps was too much to handle and the child resorted to such activities like smoking cigarettes at age nine, drinking alcohol by the time she was eleven, smoking marijuana at twelve, and snorting cocaine at thirteen. All this earned her a seat in rehab centre at the mere age of 13.

Still a teenager, Drew tried to cash in on her wild party girl image by staging a comeback in Poison Ivy (1992). But the movie bombed at the box office. Followed closely was Bad Girls (1994). In keeping with her notoriety, she appeared nude for the cover of the July issue of Interview magazine with her then-fiance, actor Jamie Walters, as well as for the January 1995 issue of Playboy.

After this rather disastrous wild spree, Drew took the reins of her sagging career in her hands firmly and bounced back with a cameo in Scream(1996) that redefined the terms of Horror movies genre. Once that done, she comfortably slipped into the romantic comedy and became one of the lucky few to hit the nail every time they delivered the film of the same clan. The prominent ones of that being Wishful Thinking (1996), The Wedding Singer (1998) , Home Fries (1998), Never Been Kissed (1999), 50 First Dates (2004), and Fever Pitch (2005).

She turned producer and set up her own production company in 2000 with the movie Charlie's Angels, where she herself starred as one of the deadlier angels. The movie went on to break many records at the box office. Later, she got a dramatic role in Riding in Cars with Boys (2001), Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002), alongside Julia Roberts and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003).Barrymore has also appeared in the films Lucky You (2007) and Music and Lyrics (2007).

Drew got a star on Hollywood Walk Of Fame in 2004 and is the record holder of the youngest person to host a television show, Saturday Night Live at the age of 7.

Barrymore was married to Welsh bartender turned bar owner, Jeremy Thomas, from March 20 to April 28, 1994, and to comedian Tom Green from July 7, 2001 to October 15, 2002 Until Green filed for divorce in December 2001. She is currently dating Justin Long.

The winner of People magazine’s 100 most beautiful lists in April 2007, this actress sure knows how to lead the pack with her irrepressible charm and talent.
